In the latest release we’ve added a progress bar for automation jobs when running Custom Tools. You can run your PowerShell scripts against 29 or 2,900 endpoints and watch the progress live or come back and check on it via Tools > My jobs.
There are no limitations on the number of job executions you can do because everything runs on-premise or on your own virtual infrastructure.

While populating data for your Custom Tool forms, you may want to make some decisions on what to show based on the user’s role and what tool is running, because you are sharing back-end pre-processor scripts across multiple tools. We’ve added a “__CustomToolID” field to the databus in addition to the previously added “__CurrentUserRoles” property to aid in that.
If you haven’t checked out the free Community Edition of System Frontier, give it a try and let us know how we can help you turn your scripts into powerful tools without sacrificing admin rights.
